A total of 8 types of livelihood packages were distributed during the turnover of assistance: 2 program recipients received a Carinderia Package; 11 recipients of Baking Package; 8 recipients of Sari-sari Store Package; 49 recipients of Bigasan Package; 3 recipients of the Nego-Kart Package; 4 recipients of Rug Making Package 1; 7 recipients of Rug Making Package 2; and 28 recipients of e-Loading Package.
DOLE-NCR Quezon City Field Office Director Joel P. Petaca, labor and employment officers Hannah Jane Postrado and Apolonio Alvarez together with representatives from the Quezon City Local Government Unit spearheaded the turnover of livelihood assistance for the beneficiaries and shared insights on how to sustain the livelihood undertakings.
“Thank you so much po sa matiyagang pag-assist sa amin,” said DILEEP beneficiary Noel Camano, whose income and livelihood had been adversely affected due to COVID-19 pandemic.
