The Department of Labor and Employment – National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) through its Makati-Pasay Field Office (MPFO) awarded the Safety Seal Certificates to various companies in Makati City on March 22, 2022 in recognition to their compliance to safety and health protocols against COVID-19.
The following firms that received the DOLE Safety Seal were Siemens Healthcare, Inc. at 10/F M1 Tower, 141 H.V. Dela Costa St., Salcedo Village, Makati City; PLDT, Inc. at 3/F Glorietta 1, Ayala Center, Makati City; Kobelco Machinery Philippines, Inc. at Unit 1, 15/F 2251 IT Hub, Chino Roces Avenue, Bangkal, Makati City; and Admerex Solutions, Inc. at 14/F The Peak Tower, 107 L.P. Leviste St., Makati City.
The awarding ceremony was presided by MPFO Director, Atty. Olivia O. Obrero-Samson; Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Julita DG. Mendoza; Senior Labor and Employment Officers Ef Michael B. Cuevas and Jason T. Prestado; and Labor and Employment Officers III Jose Marion D. Tumanguil Jr. and Jecris C. Sumampong.
According to Rule No. II, Section I of the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI Joint Memorandum Circular No. 21-01, also known as the “Implementing Guidelines for the Safety Seal Certification Program,” the Safety Seal affirms that an establishment has been found compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government, including the adoption or integration with the StaySafe.ph in contact tracing application. The seal shall be displayed conspicuously at all entrance points according to prescribed dimensions.
Obtaining the Safety Seal shall be at no cost to the establishment. Further, the Certificate is valid for six (6) months and can be renewed, subject to company’s continued compliance to the said guidelines.
